I used the gold snowman marker to colored the gold parts.Xiahou Dun was one of the most trusted men of Cao Cao's, he aided the warlord in his campaigns against Liu Bei, Sun Quan and Lu Bu. Xiahou Dun was said to be a righteous but violent man, kind and loyal to friends and family, ruthless and merciless to his enemies. Xiahou Dun lost his left eye during a battle in 198 AD, and subsequently became known among the rank and file as "Blind Xiahou", which greatly irked him. he was said to have yanked the arrow fired by Lu Bu's general Cao Xing out of his eye and eat his own eyeball to instill fear in his enemies. His hot-temper was well-known, however. Following the loss of his eye, whenever he caught sight of his face in a mirror, he would rip the mirror out and smash it into the ground. Even more famous than his temper was his loyalty.
While Xiahou Dun known for his temper and loyalty, Xiahou Yuan was known for his decisiveness and cautiousness. In his early years, Chinese population was plagued with hardships due to devastations caused by war and nature, and even the affluent Xiahou Family was no exception. Xiahou Yuan's daughter had to go out to gather firewoods to help out the family because Xiahou Yuan's income was not enough to buy firewoods from the market. As a result, in her last trip to gather firewood for her family, Xiahou Yuan's daughter was captured by Zhang Fei's troops, but it turned out to be a blessing for her: Zhang Fei married Xiahou Yuan's daughter and both of their two daughters were married to Liu Shan and became the empresses of Shu Han.
Short Story, manga version:
- Fierce warrior of steel. Sousou's trusted right-hand man. Has a characteristic eyepatch at his left eye. During the events of Gathering of the Heroes, his left eye is still intact. In the manga his left eye was damaged in the battle with Chinkyuu and Koushun while in Comic World he lost his left eye while covering Sousou from Ryofu's attack. No matter how threatening the battle is, he likes to fight it fairly. Has a good relationship with Sousou, always there for Sousou in times of need.
- Became the Commander-in-Chief after the formation of Giga, supervising the army.
- Brother of Kakouen. (It should be noted that in historical literature related to the Three Kingdoms, Kakouen (Xiahou Yuan) is cousin, as opposed to brother, to Kakouton (Xiahou Dun).
